MLB Extra Innings will be free through April 11

Baseball fans will get an eyeful — and at no extra cost — when MLB Extra Innings provides free games to digital cable customers from March 31 through April 11. Mets and Yankees games will be blacked out in the New York market. In most cases, home and away team telecasts will be offered for the same game — some availability may be limited, though, with the MLB package sharing the same channels as the NHL package.
Obviously, the pitch is to entice fans to buy into the season-long package, retailing for $179 if bought before April 11 and $199 if purchased afterward.
