Gary Cohen takes 2-day break; Kevin Burkhardt calls action on SNY

Mets TV play-by-play voice Gary Cohen is taking two days off for his son’s graduation. Reporter Kevin Burkhardt steps up to the broadcast booth for a rare appearance tonight and Thursday.
Burkhardt has called Mets spring training games, and some minor-league games on SportsNet New York (SNY) and is a more-than-capable replacement.
In recent years, a medical ailment sent Cohen to the sidelines and pressed radio voice Howie Rose into TV duty.
