Team USA London hoops to air on WFAN

A couple of the Team USA men’s basketball games from the London Olympics will be aired on WFAN (660 AM) in New York. The opener vs. France on Sunday, July 29, will air at 9:15 a.m., and the Saturday, Aug. 4 game vs. an unknown foe will also air at 9:15 a.m.
There is no further word on any additional Team USA airings, or other Olympic programming from Westwood One. A station spokesman said the medal-round games are a distinct possibility, including the championship, with or without the USA. Of course, all of the games will be aired by the NBC Sports Network and online at NBCOlympics.com.
