The Major League Baseball playoffs get underway on Friday with the debut of the new wild-card games. TBS has coverage of the Cardinals-Braves at 5 p.m. and the Orioles-Rangers at 8:30 p.m.
The Divisional Series begin on Saturday. TBS has the rights to all games, except for one game on Sunday and one on Wednesday, both of which will go to MLB Network.
By the way, if any MLB playoff game on TBS runs late due to extra innings, weather delays or just interminable American League action (see: Yankees), sister network TNT will be the home for the start of the next game before reverting back to TBS upon conclusion.
ESPN Radio will air every MLB playoff game, and stream them on ESPNRadio.com. New York’s WEPN (98.7 FM) will carry most games (there will be a Jets conflict on Monday evening), plus you can find games on Chicago’s WMVP (1000-AM), Cincinnati’s WCKY (1530-AM) and Albany’s WTMM (104.5-FM).
