NBC Sports, NHL Network to carry World Hockey Championships

NBC Sports and NHL Network will present the IIHF World Hockey Championships, featuring games from Team USA, starting Friday.
Five of the Team USA telecasts will be televised live by NHL Network and streamed live on NBCsports.com and the NBC Sports app, and then presented on tape-delay on NBC Sports Network. Two games (May 10 vs. Italy, May 16 vs. Russia) will be aired live by NBCSN.
NHL players expected to compete for Team USA include Jack Eichel (Sabres), Johnny Gaudreau (Flames), Anders Lee (Islanders), Brock Nelson (Islanders), Dylan Larkin (Red Wings), Jimmy Howard (Red Wings), Noah Hanifin (Hurricanes), Trevor van Riemsdyk (Blackhawks) and Charlie McAvoy (Bruins).
The tournament will be hosted in Cologne, Germany, and Paris, France.
