WMCA, WNYM to air football on weekends

New York radio stations WMCA (570 AM) and WNYM (970 AM) will be broadcasting live pro and college football this fall.
WMCA is the flagship station for Army football. The Black Knights will appear on Friday, Sept. 1 vs. Fordham (6 p.m.); Saturday, Sept. 9 vs. Buffalo (noon); and, Saturday, Sept. 16 at Ohio State (4:30 p.m.), plus games as the season progresses.
Syracuse football returns to WNYM, starting with Friday, Sept, 1, vs. Central Connecticut (7 p.m.); Saturday, Sept. 9, vs. Middle Tennessee (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday, Sept. 16 vs. Central Michigan (3:30 p.m.), plus games later in the season.
WNYM will be carrying the NFL on ESPN Radio package on Sundays, sometimes featuring doubleheaders and other dates with single games. The first two weeks of the regular season has the Sept. 10 twinbill of Eagles at Redskins (1 p.m.) and Colts at Rams (4:05 p.m.) and the Sept. 17 twinbill of Vikings at Steelers (1 p.m.) and 49ers at Seahawks (4:25 p.m.).
