Soccer: UEFA Champions League begins next week

The UEFA Champions League group stage matches begin next week, and Turner Sports has announced its schedule.
The UEFA Champions League is the best well-known club soccer championships in the world, and features the top finishers in the major European leagues from the 2017-18 season. The home-and-away sets have winners advance from total-goal aggregates.
The TNT schedule for the opening-week Day One matches:
Tuesday, Sept. 18
FC Barcelona vs. PSV Eindhoven, 12:55 p.m.
Liverpool FC vs. Paris Saint-Germain, 3 p.m.
Wednesday, September 19
AFC Ajax vs. AEK Athens, 12:55 p.m.
Real Madrid vs. AS Roma, 3 p.m.
The TNT studio team will be hosted by Kate Abdo, Stuart Holden, Steve Nash and Tim Howard (on Wednesdays). The pregame show gets underway at noon ET, and a post-game show follows the second match.

The website Bleacher Report will webcast the remaining contests via a subscription service, B/R Live. In all, B/R Live will provide more than 340 matches on an individual ($2.99), monthly ($9.99) and annual ($79.99) pricetag.

FC Schalke 04 vs. FC Porto, 3 p.m.
Club Brugge vs. Borussia Dortmund, 3 p.m.
AS Monaco vs. Atletico Madrid, 3 p.m.
Red Star Belgrade vs. Napoli, 3 p.m.
Galatasaray vs. Lokomotiv Moscow, 3 p.m.
Wednesday, September 19
Shakhtar Donetsk vs. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, 3 p.m.
Benfica vs. Bayern Munich, 3 p.m.
Manchester City vs. Olympique Lyonnais, 3 p.m.
BSC Young Boys vs. Manchester United, 3 p.m.
Valencia vs. Juventus, 3 p.m.
FC Viktoria Plzen vs. CSKA Moscow, 3 p.m.
B/R Live will also carry all UEFA Europa League matches on Thursdays, generally at 12:55 p.m. and 3 p.m. ET. The Europa League consists of teams that finished in the next tier in the European Leagues behind the clubs that qualified for the Champions League.
This is the first season that TNT and Bleacher Report have carried the UEFA Champions and Europa leagues. In past seasons, the matches were carried by Fox Sports and ESPN.
