Village of Montgomery and police need arbitrator

Police agreement on town agenda
As promised, the Police Consolidation Committee is on the agenda to present to the Town of Montgomery board about an inter-municipal agreement. Mayor Brian Maher said he met with the committee Wednesday morning to shore up the presentation.
The meeting is Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

Walden freezes police position
The Village of Walden board voted to freeze an unfilled police position Tuesday while they talk with the town on consolidation.
