Newburgh business group holding candidates forum

 

Some of the candidates hoping to represent the City of Newburgh on the city council and in the Orange County Legislature will appear at a candidates’ forum being held as part of the Newburgh Professional & Business Association’s annual meeting Wednesday.

Council candidates Genie Abrams, Karen Mejia and Christine Bello are confirmed, as are Legislature candidates Pat Berardinelli, Drew Kartiganer and James Kulisek. Deborah Mulqueen, who is running for county clerk, and Michael Isgur, a district attorney candidate, are also confirmed.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at Don Fernando’s restaurant, 362 Broadway. The group’s annual meetings are open to the public. Admission is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
