Just got off the phone with Minisink Valley coach Kevin Gallagher and he was getting his team ready for a bus to Monroe-Woodbury.

Varsity 845: Wrestling patrol
Most practices were canceled today. So how are wrestlers preparing for the biggest day of Section 9 wrestling Saturday?.
Four Valley Central teammates found a way. Robert Bailey, Ali Hasan and Nic Smith went over to teammate Luke Amrhein’s house in Walden for a workout.

Section 9 tournament weather update
Check here to find out what time the Section 9 Division I tournament on Saturday or if it will be postponed to Sunday.
The original plan is to start at 10:30 a.m. at Monroe-Woodbury. But if the pending snowstorm is as strong as expected the tournament may be delayed.

Hofstra sophomore 133-pounder Lou Ruggirello (Valley Central): Lou is ranked sixth in the nation. He beat eighth-ranked Kenny Jordan of Nebraska 6-0 Sunday. Ruggirello, who won three state titles at Valley Central, is 62-14 in his college career.
