MIchie Stadium field update

The project to replace the turf at Michie Stadium will start Monday, June 2. And you can track the progress on Army’s athletic Web site, www.goarmysports.com, via a live webcam. The webcam will run 24/7 until the project’s completion.

Army vs. Notre Dame: It could happen

Pete Dawkins Day at West Point

Heisman trophy winner Pete Dawkins’ No. 24 at Army will be retired on Pete Dawkins Day on Oct. 25 when Louisiana Tech travels to West Point. The first 10,000 fans (ages 15 and older) entering Michie Stadium will receive a Pete Dawkins bobblehead. Trimble to speak at Warwick

Army senior Jeremy Trimble, West Point’s all-time leading receiver, will speak to more than 200 students at the Warwick High scholar-athlete breakfast Tuesday (May 20) morning. Trimble will be talking to students and parents approximately 8:45 a.m. Trimble is well-spoken and should have a lot of quality stories to tell about his time at West Point.

Sources say Army senior Trey Miranne could be back playing center at West Point this fall. According to sources, Miranne isn’t on campus and returned home this semester for surgery to an unknown injury. Tolson waived by Giants

Former Army punter Owen Tolson was waived by the Giants Monday, one day after rookie and free-agent mini-camp ended. It’s official: Tolson signs with Giants

The Giants officially announced the signing of Army punter Owen Tolson to a free-agent contract Thursday. Tolson will participate in rookie and first-year player mini-camp, starting Friday.
