Who is Chip Bowden?

What’s up with Mike Viti
Mike Viti will enter Buffalo Bills training camp on July 25
third on the depth chart at fullback, according to Chris Brown of
buffalobills.com.
Hopefully Viti will be 100 percent. Viti suffered an
undisclosed injury to his left knee in late May in OTA’s (Offseason Training
Activities) after some incidental contact along the sideline following a
reception.

McIntosh’s arrival time: 12 days
Twelve days and counting until freshman quarterback Paul McIntosh,
Army’s prized catch of the 2008 recruiting class, arrives at West Point.

Owen Tolson update
Former Army punter Owen Tolson isn’t the only rookie, free-agent punter or kicker waiting for a call from an NFL team.
Tolson, who was released by New York Giants after rookie mini-camp in
May, said every punter and kicker, who went to the NFL combine, hasn’t

Sad news
Joel Namy, a West Point sophomore and former football player, passed away Monday in Buffalo.
Namy, 21, was admitted as an inpatient at Roswell Park
Hospital under a physician’s care when he passed away.
Namy was a 6-foot-2, 264-pound offensive lineman from Cazenovia, N.Y.
his freshman year (2005) before being diagnosed with cancer. He
