Road dog: At Tulane
Army is a 19½-point underdog against Tulane Saturday.
Tulane (2-2, wins over Louisiana-Monroe and SMU) is averaging 21 points
per game. The law of averages says if Army scores at least a field
goal, it will cover. Expect Army to score more than that. Tulane’s
defense has allowed 20 points per game.
The game will be played at Tad Gormley Stadium (26,500 capacity) and not the Superdome.
I was told by a member of the Army sports information staff, center Trey Miranne played his high school games on the field.
