Army and Rutgers played nine times at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. from 1979 to 1996.
Rutgers won seven of the meetings.
Army defeated Rutgers 42-21 in 1996. Quarterback Adam Thompson, subbing for the injured Ronnie McAda, rushed for 126 and a touchdown.
