Position change: Kingsley Ehie
Junior Kingsley Ehie, who started 10 games at fullback in 2009, will begin spring practice at middle linebacker.
Ehie will play behind sophomore Bill Prosko and freshman Josh Powell. Starting middle linebacker Stephen Anderson continues to rehab his left knee and will miss the spring.
Ehie rushed for 473 yards (third on the team) and two touchdowns (both in the season opener) last season. He had trouble holding onto the ball, losing five fumbles.
Ehie’s move makes it clear that freshman Jared Hassin will be Army’s top fullback in the spring. Hassan sat out 2009 season due to NCAA transfer rules. Sophomore CeDarius Williams, junior Jacob Bohn and freshman Brad Gallik should also see fullback reps.
