Navy radar: Curry dismissed from team

This from my good buddy Bill Wagner at the Annapolis Capital: Navy slotback Marcus Curry has been kicked off the team for not complying with team rules. Curry scored eight touchdowns including a 25-yard catch against Army last season.

The Capital reported Curry failed a random drug test on Dec. 14, 2009, two days after Navy’s 17-3 win over Army. Separation from the academy was recommended. But Navy superintendent Jeffrey L. Fowler hit Curry with 21 days of restriction and 100 demerits. For more on the situation, check out Wagner’s story.
