Injury update

Army coach Rich Ellerson said junior starting linebacker Steve Erzinger should be ready to play against Hawaii Saturday at Michie Stadium.

Erzinger took a blow to the head in the second half against Eastern Michigan and didn’t return.

“I don’t think there will be a problem with Steve,” Ellerson said. “I think he’ll be OK.”

Ellerson said sophomore starting linebacker Nate Combs, who suffered a right knee injury on the first series against Eastern Michigan, could be doneĀ  for the season.

“We don’t know exactly the extent of it but I’m be surprised to see Nate again this year,” Ellerson said.
