Vanderbilt undecided at QB

Vanderbilt coach James Franklin said he will make a decision on his starting quarterback for his team’s home game against Army on Wednesday during his press conference Monday.

Senior Larry Smith has started Vanderbilt’s first six games. But, junior Jordan Rodgers finished Vanderbilt’s 33-28 loss to Georgia Saturday.

Smith completed 5-of-10 passes and Rodgers, who is the younger brother of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, was 4-of-19 but rushed for 80 yards.

“Jordan did some nice things from a competitive standpoint,” Franklin said. “I thought he played really hard and he competed. There are a lot of things that Jordan, Larry and a lot of our other players need to improve on.”
