There’s some good news coming out of Army’s 42-14 loss to Temple Saturday.
Army coach Rich Ellerson said junior quarterback Trent Steelman, who left the game after two plays with right leg injury, should be able to play against Navy on Dec. 10 in the season finale.
“I think he has a great chance to be able to go at Navy and he’s got a great chance to practice before we go to Navy,” Ellerson said after the game.
Steelman rushed the ball on Army’s first two offensive plays. He came out of a pile after a 5-yard gain and had trouble putting pressure on his right leg. Steelman was finished just 4 minutes and 7 seconds into the game.
