Postgame nuggets: Boston College

Some quick nuggets following Army’s 34-31 win over Boston College

Army rushed for 323 yards and didn’t complete a pass in the second half.

Army defeated a team from Bowl Championship Series (BCS) conference for the fourth straight season. The Black Knights beat Vanderbilt (2009), Duke (2010) and Northwestern (2011).

Sophomore fullback Larry Dixon’s 55-yard run in the third quarter was Army’s longest run of the season.

Army’s defense held Boston College to 4-of-11 on third-down conversions.

Army dominated time of possession. The Black Knights had the ball for 37 minutes and 38 seconds.
