Inside the numbers: Maples cracks 2,000

Lost in Army’s 31-17 loss to Kent State was junior Raymond Maples becoming just the 10th player in academy history to rush for 2,000 or more yards.

Maples, who was held to a season-low 80 yards, now has 2,025 yards for his career. He has 751 yards this season.
