Army’s spring scrimmage at Fort Hood, Texas next month could be cancelled due to budget constraints at West Point, a source said.
West Point brass met to discuss possible budget cuts Friday.
Among the items talked about was the football team’s trip to Texas on March 8.
Army held its first Black & Gold game outside of New York at Fort Benning, Ga. last March. Players experienced the military side, attending a basic training graduation ceremony and visiting the National Infantry Museum and some training before its scrimmage before soldiers.
