Laird has one more game left

Army wide receiver Patrick Laird has one more game left in the college career.

Laird, a senior and 2010 Monroe-Woodbury graduate, was selected as Army’s lone representative for the East-West Shrine on Jan. 18 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

Former Atlanta Falcons coach Jerry Glanville will coach Laird and the East team. Laird, Army’s best blocking receiver, caught three passes for 28 yards and a touchdown. He also recovered a fumble on special teams. Laird, who started all 12 games and caught 11 passes in 2012,  is the 28th Army players picked for the Shrine Game.
