Offense breakdown: Ohio State

Army crossed midfield on six of its nine possessions but the Black Knights could only manage one touchdown in a 38-7 loss to Ohio State Saturday.

Junior left tackle Rick Kurz played a team-high 63 snaps. Kurz left the game in the third quarter with a shoulder injury and returned to play the rest of the game.

Twenty-nine players saw action on offense.

Freshman Fred Cooper played the most snaps (43) among slotbacks.

Army operated out of the shotgun three times, throwing two incompletions on both passing attempts. The Black Knights ran out of empty backfield six times. Sophomore slotback Kell Walker was targeted on four of eight passing attempts.
