Recruiting: Commits react to Duke game visit

Lafayette (Mo.) linebacker and Army commit Hayden Bollinger said the Black Knights’ 21-16 win over Duke at Michie Stadium, was, “the most electric game atmosphere I’ve ever seen.”

For other commits, their visit to Army Saturday reinforced their commitment to the Black Knights.

“I was joking with my dad, asking if I could commit twice,” Union County (Ga.) wide receiver Cole Wright said. “West Point is where I want to be! The locker room after the game was the coolest thing ever.”

“Loved it,” Archbishop Spalding (Md.) lineman Cody Winokur said. “It was my first game but every time I go up to West Point it just solidifies my decision to go there even more.”

Webb (Tenn.) linebacker Morgan Ernst, Urbana (Md.) safety Ja’ren Kenyatta, Standish-Sterling (Mich.) lineman Drew Kraatz, Fort Atkinson (Wisc.) linebacker Troy Nachtigal and Edmond (Okla.) defensive lineman Hunter Richard were among Army commits that visited.

Blytheville (S.C.) cornerback/slotback Jayden Brunson, Tampa Bay Tech (Fla.) defensive lineman Darius Richardson and Grayson (Ga.) kicker Will Van Pamelen were among the recruits visiting Saturday. Brunson listed Army in his top three with The Citadel and South Carolina State in late October.
