KnightCap: Duke

Army checked off the team’s No. 2 goal of the season Saturday, defeating Duke 21-16 to finish undefeated (6-0) at home for the first time since 1996.

The Black Knights equaled its 2016 win total with its eighth victory. It’s the first time that Army has won eight or more games in back-to-back seasons since 1984-85.

Army ran 22 plays to Duke’s 6 in the fourth quarter and the defense made a stand late in the fourth quarter to preserve the win.
