Army-Navy Game Jerseys: 10th Mountain Division

The wait is over.

One week after Navy revealed its jersey for Saturday’s Army-Navy game, Army released its special-edition Nike uniform.

The Black Knights’ uniform will honor the 10th Mountain Division, which originated during the World War II and engaged in winter warfare in the mountainous of Italy.

The “Climb to Glory” uniforms include white jerseys with gold numerals and letters and four different patches with the Mountain Division (85th Mountain Infantry Regiment, 86th Mountain Infantry Regiment, 87th Mountain Infantry Regiment and 126th Mountain Engineer Battalion) and helmets with a crossed-skis decal on the front.

Army wore uniforms honoring the 82nd Airborne in last year’s Army-Navy game.

The Midshipmen will wear “Blue Angels” uniforms in tribute to the Navy’s flight team.
