Recruiting: Georgia kicker Albert Jang first 2020 commit

Peachtree Ridge junior punter-kicker Albert Jang announced his commitment to Army Friday.

Jang is the first member of Army’s 2020 recruiting class. The Georgia Sports Writers Association named Jang a first-team, all-state punter for the 2018 season. Jang averaged 45 yards per punt as a junior.

“Playing at this school has been my biggest dream and goal since middle school and that is why I am so excited to announce my commitment to continue my football and academic career at the United States Military Academy,” Jang said in a Twitter post.

Chris Sailer Kicking ranks the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Jang the 9th-best punter and 41st-best kicker of the 2020 class.
