Levon’s Ramble Gets Into the Act

Sure, there’ll be a lot of parties at the 2010 Woodstock Film Festival, but there’s only one Midnight Ramble, and Levon Helm is getting into the act by inviting a band featured in the festival.

Helm’s Midnight Ramble on Oct. 2 (Saturday night, as always) will feature the Good Listeners, the band profiled in “Don’t Quit Your Daydream.” The Good Listeners are friends Nathan Khyber and Clark Stiles, who met a bunch of cool musicians while creating a documentary about their band. One of those musician friends is Adrian Grenier (“Entourage”), who hopped on to produce the film. Grenier will perform with the Good Listeners Thursday night at the festival, after a screening at the Bearsville Theatre.

Will Vincent Chase join the boys at the Ramble? Time will tell.

A few tickets remain for both shows. For the festival, visit www.woodstockfilmfestival.com and for the Ramble, visit www.levonhelm.com.
