Offense breakdown: Fordham

Army had 40 players see action on offense in its 64-6 season-opening win over Fordham Friday at Michie Stadium.

Senior offensive lineman Josh Boylan played the most snaps (34). Boylan opened the game at left guard and shifted to center when backup quarterback Kelvin Hopkins entered the game in the third quarter.

Senior quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw’s third-career, season-opening start lasted 26 snaps. Bradshaw played the first series of the second half before he was replaced by Hopkins with the game in hand.

Sophomore Jaxson Deaton started ahead of senior Mike Houghton at right guard. Houghton, who battled injury in the preseason, played just eight snaps in the first quarter. He also played on the line for extra points.

Nine freshmen made their college debuts including wide Cam Harrison, who made his first start. Slotbacks Zack Boobas, Fred Cooper, Dominic Distefano, Artice Hobbs and T.J. Wisham, fullback Sandon McCoy, wide receiver Kevin Waites and center Peyton Reeder also contributed.
